This reference is not your average "Eben's a nice guy" letter. It is something I have initiated without Eben's request because I simply felt that after what he produced, it was a necessity to tell you about Eben, for people who work as efficiently as he has, deserve to be a success in this world and if I can help him reach this potential by telling you of his competence: I will be a happier man!
Eben has been nothing short of brilliant in his entire approach to the building of all 3 of our websites. I met Eben after reading a tiny advert he had placed in a certain Durbanville local newspaper. It caught my eye as I was looking for web designer at the time and was extremely well priced (almost to good to be true), so I called to discuss our requirements with Eben and 3 weeks later - I have 3 extremely impressive websites.
In my experience, I have always found it difficult to work with web & graphic designers because they don't always do what the client wants due to their creative flair and lack of corporate understanding; Eben has been somewhat different. We worked closely together day-in and day-out until the project was completed. Eben worked weekends day and night to ensure a speedy turnaround time for his clients. It was all very structured and the process was in fact made very simple for me.
After the initial briefing, Eben went back and got the layout of the entire site done in one day (the layout only), we then changed it here and there to get the correct order of the drop down menus and the relevant text on each page. The site then began to be designed and started to take shape within a few days. Uploads were done every evening for me to view and this kept me up to date with the progress each day.
Eben understand the concept of hard work and is completely dedicated to his business and the success thereof. If you are reading this letter with the idea of using Eben to design your website in the back of your head, following through on these thoughts would certainly prove a worthy decision - You will be happy to have made a top class decision once your site is complete!
